
Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has inaugurated the Governing Council of Ambrose Alli College (AAU), Ekpoma, with a cost to revive the misplaced glory of the establishment.
Okpebholo, who inaugurated the council on the New Competition Corridor of Authorities Home, Benin, mentioned yesterday that schooling was the bedrock of growth, with AAU having better function to play in attaining this.
The governor, accompanied by his deputy, Dennis Idahosa, prime authorities officers and eminent politicians, urged the council members to work with dedication, imaginative and prescient and deep sense of accountability.
He suggested them to work collectively and restore the popularity of the college as a centre of educational excellence.
AAU’s Chairman of Governing Council, Chief Dan Orbih, who can be the nationwide vice chairman, Southsouth, of the principle opposition Peoples Democratic Get together (PDP),
expressed gratitude to the governor for giving members the chance to serve.
